Matrice 4T on the RC Plus 2

Quick reference for the TFOdev AR app running on the DJI RC Plus 2 with the Matrice 4T (M4T). Covers the WIDE HUD, camera controls, bottom telemetry bar, and the RC Plus 2 hardware button map.

Top status bar

Left to right across the top:

Ready to Go (GPS)	Flight status.
Red ! Triangle Below Flight Status	Errors or Problems. Click to view
WIDE	Active camera (WIDE / ZOOM / IR).
AR badge	AR sync state. Green = synced White or Red = not synced. If red after takeoff, long-press the AR text at top to resync.
RC %	Controller radio signal quality.
Satellite count	GPS satellites locked (e.g. `19`).
Home icon	Green = home point acquired. Red = no home point yet. Tap in flight to point drone towards home.
Battery %	Aircraft battery.

Camera / capture chips

Upper right of the HUD.

Address card	Nearest street address from reverse geocode using the LRF (e.g. 81 Doris Lee).
EV / ISO	Exposure compensation and ISO.
NS	NightScene state (see toast overlay when toggled).
IR	Thermal overlay active.
Free	Remaining onboard storage.

Left side controls

Person icon	Spotlight controls (M4T payload).
Red triangle	AirSense alert — appears below the spotlight when nearby crewed aircraft may be a hazard.
Bulb icon	Drone LEDs (nav / aux lights).
AI	AI detection overlay. Detected persons are marked with a small white P below the box.
W/Z	Toggle Wide / Zoom cameras (same as `L1`).
IR	Thermal / IR camera (same as `L2`).

Right side controls

REC	Start / stop video recording (same as the hardware `REC` button).
+ / −	Zoom in / out (ZOOM mode; matches `R1` / `R2`).
AR +	AR overlay offset adjustment controls.

Center HUD

Center red dot — boresighted for LRF and AR alignment.
Compass / attitude widget — heading (e.g. 203° SW), pitch, altitude (ALT), home-relative altitude (H), and wind indicator.

Bottom bar

Left to right along the bottom:

Mic icon	Toggle microphone on / off (also `L3` short-press).
Cast icon	Broadcast stream. Green = live. Long-press to prevent accidental connect / disconnect.
Gear	Video data and encryption settings.
LRF:	Laser Range Finder target coordinates (lat / lon).
H:	Distance to home point.
Time:	Remaining flight time.

RC Plus 2 button map

`L1`	Toggle Wide / Zoom camera.
`L2`	Thermal (IR) camera.
`L3`	Toggle microphone on / off.
`R1` / `R2`	Zoom in / out.
`R3`	Long-press: AR calibration adjustment.
`REC`	Start / stop recording.
`C1`	Show / reload nearest full addresses (WIDE & IR).
`C2`	Wide / Zoom focus.
`D-pad ↑`	Show / reload addresses (WIDE & IR).
`D-pad ↓`	Hide addresses.

PIP (Picture-in-Picture)

Tap the PIP or IR button in the top camera controls to toggle PIP. The IR PIP is auto-linked to the Zoom camera.

Typical post-takeoff check

Confirm Ready to Go (GPS) is green and the Home icon is green.
If the AR badge is white or red after takeoff, long-press it to resync AR alignment.
Verify RC %, satellite count, and battery % are nominal.
